Ouroboros ring, or snake biting its tail, is a symbol of time and of the cycle of Life. This is an eternity symbol in alchemy and comes from the magic of the Ancient Egypt. This occult emblem is widely used in different schools of mysticism.

This ring was hand-carved in wax, just like my pendant of the same name, then cast in sterling silver. You can see the stages of this process here:
